Swag.com co-founder and CEO, Jeremy Parker recently appeared on the BYOB (Be Your Own Boss) Podcast to talk about the ins and outs of entrepreneurship. Jeremy shares how Swag.com grew from a two-man “traveling salesman” gig to a $30 million e-commerce business in six years.
In the episode, he tells the story of his evolution into an entrepreneur — from winning film festivals in college, to discovering a passion for changing the promotional products industry. He found mentors to guide him through his endeavors, including Mark Cuban and Jesse Itzler!
His parting piece of advice for aspiring entrepreneurs? “A lot of entrepreneurs get in their own way, thinking they have to figure out everything before they start. But in the early days you don’t even know what you don’t know. My advice is to just start and learn as much as you can.”
